If you told a younger version of me that one day I’d be "constructing" my own construction company, I wouldn’t have thought it was farfetched, but I did have other paths in mind before finding my place in this work. I grew up the son of a house cleaner and a rare wood exporter, which gave me early exposure to both sides of the industry, being inside people’s homes and understanding what it takes to run a business.
As a kid, I spent summers and weekends going from house to house with my mom, eventually helping clean so we could get home sooner. At the same time, my dad brought me into his warehouse and into meetings, showing me what it meant to operate professionally. That combination shaped how I respect the home and maintain accountability in how the job gets done.
At 18, I mounted my first TV without knowing what I was doing. I didn’t understand what a stud was and learned quickly when the TV fell that proper preparation prevents poor performance. It wasn’t what led me into this work, but it’s a lesson I still carry, knowing I would never accept that level of work for a customer.
After getting my start in San Francisco a decade later, I moved to Las Vegas to build something of my own from the ground up. Over the past 6 years, I’ve worked across a wide range of homes and projects, developing an appreciation not just for remodel work, but also for helping people, especially those in the 55+ community and Section 8 housing, maintain safe, functional living spaces.
While I started as a handyman, I’m continuing to grow into home remodeling as I work toward my general contractor’s license. I act as the liaison between a customer’s vision and the execution of it. This work gives me direction, and I carry that forward into every job through clean execution and consistency, so customers feel confident in the work being done in their home. I show up prepared and communicate clearly so nothing gets lost in translation.
